Smoking Pot Doesn't Affect the Way You Drive

No word yet on operating heavy machinery, but it turns out that smoking pot doesn't impair one's ability to drive, according to a new study. Its 85 participants used a driving simulator 30 minutes before and after smoking either a joint or a placebo. Researchers found no difference in driving or during potential collision scenarios like avoiding a dog in the road. Actually, the only difference they found was that the tokers were more likely to slow down during certain parts of the simulation, reports Asylum.
