Pa. Official: We Could Know Winner Thursday Night

By the AP's count, Joe Biden is just six electoral votes short of the presidency as ballot counting continues in a handful of states. President Trump, meanwhile, continues to dispute that and mount legal challenges about the tally. Notable trends: Biden's lead has been widening in Nevada, and he has shrunk Trump's lead in Georgia and Pennsylvania, reports the Hill. Pennsylvania's secretary of state says "we definitely could" know the state's winner by the end of Thursday, reports NPR. Elsewhere, Trump is shrinking Biden's lead in Arizona, a state that already has been called in Biden's favor by the AP. A look at where things stand as of Thursday afternoon:

• Nevada (6 electoral college votes): Biden leads here by roughly 11,000 votes, with about 380,000 still to be counted, reports NPR. Biden's lead has been widening as late vote results arrive.

• Pennsylvania (20): Trump leads by 108,000 votes, with 878,000 votes uncounted. Trump's lead has been shrinking here.
• Georgia (16): Trump leads by almost 13,000 votes, with roughly 47,000 votes still to be counted, and most were in counties that leaned Democratic, per the New York Times. Biden has been narrowing the gap here.
• North Carolina (15): Trump leads by 76,000 votes, with 348,000 votes uncounted. Biden would need to win about two-thirds of the remaining votes to win.
• Alaska (3): With about half the vote in, Trump is expected to win.
• Arizona (11): Biden leads by 68,000 with about 450,000 votes still to be counted. The AP already has called the state for Biden, but the race has been tightening, and the Trump campaign says it can still win. "The Associated Press continues to watch and analyze vote count results from Arizona as they come in," says executive editor Sally Buzbee. "We will follow the facts in all cases.
• Michigan (16): The AP also has called this race for Biden. On Thursday, a judge rejected a request from the Trump campaign to halt vote counting, reports ClickonDetroit.
• Trump's view: The president is making new allegations of "fraud" on Twitter. "All of the recent Biden claimed States will be legally challenged by us for Voter Fraud and State Election Fraud. Plenty of proof - just check out the Media. WE WILL WIN! America First!," he wrote in a post marked as "disputed" by Twitter. His campaign also issued a written statement asserting that "if you count the legal votes, I easily win the election! If you count the illegal and late votes, they can steal the election from us!"
• Biden campaign: It says victory is "imminent," reports the Hill.
