No more tanning beds for minors in California, reports the Los Angeles Times. Gov. Jerry Brown yesterday signed legislation that raises the minimum age for ultraviolet tanning procedures from 14 (with parental permission) to 18, citing the risks posed by skin cancer. The law goes into effect Jan. 1. (More indoor tanning stories.)
