MySpace has a new look that’s, well, sort of familiar. The site has revamped its homepage, featuring a “wider and more prominent” stream of updates from your friends, crowned by a “What do you want to share?” prompt and flanked by recommendations of activities, events, and people you may know. Which, New York magazine notes, looks sorta similar to that other social networking site.

Some users get a “sneak preview” of the homepage today, and it’ll be implemented for everyone else on Monday. It’s intended, a MySpace executive tells Mashable, to showcase the corners of MySpace that users may not have discovered already. It’s also just a portion of the “major relaunch” the company is promising for this fall. (More MySpace stories.)
