Things are not looking good for Terri Horman: A 911 call made from the Horman home the day Kyron's father walked out on his wife is now part of the investigation into the 7-year-old's disappearance. Oregon police have declined to discuss the reason for the call, but a judge has granted a restraining order to keep Terri away from the couple's baby daughter and from accessing firearms. Terri also hired a prominent criminal defense attorney, People reports.
The restraining order has been sealed by a judge who says releasing it might jeopardize the investigation. Under Oregon law, experts say, the type of order granted would have required proof that the individual posed an immediate threat. Terri, Kyron's stepmother and the last person known to have seen him alive, pleaded guilty to "reckless endangerment of another" after a DUI bust in 2005, ABC reports. Police say that was because her older son from another marriage was in the car when she was pulled over.
