Judge Extends Van der Sloot Probe

Peruvian investigators will have another week to consider filing charges against Joran Van der Sloot, who will remain locked up in Lima while they work, CNN reports. The Dutch man has not been charged in the death of Stephany Flores Ramirez, whose body was found last week in a hotel room registered to Van der Sloot. The Dutch government has formally objected to yesterday's perp walk in front of international reporters and has assigned Van der Sloot, 22, a lawyer.
