The Cowboys managed to stay undefeated with an improbable comeback in a madcap game that involved six interceptions, a fake punt, a failed two-point conversion, and two last-second, game-winning field goals. Dallas quarterback Tony Romo threw five passes into the hands of the Buffalo Bills, twice for touchdowns, but kicker Nick Folk saved the day, reports the Dallas Morning News.
The Bills seemed to have everything under control, leading 24-16 late in the fourth, and when Dallas scored but missed a two-point conversion with 20 seconds left, it looked like their winning streak would be snapped. But the Cowboys recovered Folk's on-side kick and he nailed the field goal, then did it again after the Bills iced him with a timeout. (More NFL stories.)
