A Saudi prince has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man believed to have been part of his entourage was found battered to death in a 5-star London hotel. Detectives were called in after staffers found the body at the Landmark Hotel, the Telegraph reports. The victim, a Saudi man in his 30s, had suffered severe head injuries.
The royal told police he was a cousin of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah. Investigators contacted Saudi diplomats and determined that the suspect was a middle-ranking royal. Detectives are now trying to determine whether the prince is entitled to diplomatic immunity.
