Potheads no longer have to inhale their drug or gobble pot brownies—they can eat it oh-so-properly with a fork and knife, thanks to the growing number of marijuana-laced gourmet goodies. Ganja Gourmet serves cannabis-infused specialties such as pizza, hummus, and lasagna in one medical marijuana dispensary in Denver, and a nearby Caribbean restaurant will soon offer pot baking classes to help home chefs get baked.

"When I started using marijuana, I was eating a brownie every day. I gained a ton of weight," said Michael DeLao, a former hotel chef who hosts the Cannabis Planet cooking segments on Los Angeles' KJLA. Many users view eating marijuana as much healthier than smoking it, notes the AP. But consumers often over-indulge because the high takes longer to come on. Ganja Gourment limits customers to one item every 45 minutes, and will drive them home if necessary. "If someone leaves my place wasted, I'm liable," explains Ganja's owner.
