Barack Flirts Earned Wrath of Michelle

The latest tidbit from Christopher Andersen’s Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage, out today, reveals the punishment Michelle Obama meted out for women who “pushed their bodies up against his, slipped phone numbers into his pockets,” and grabbed his butt, the New York Post reports. Then-campaigning Barack just got the silent treatment, but at least one campaign staffer may have gotten banished.

“Her husband, it would later be reported, had grown close to an attractive young African-American woman named Vera Baker,” Andersen writes. “When Baker suddenly and inexplicably vanished from the campaign and resurfaced on the Caribbean island of Martinique, tongues reportedly began wagging.
