Me-Owch! Cubs' Cat-Grab Sparks Uproar

Cat lovers are hissing in rage after a feline intruder was hoisted out of a game by its tail at Wrigley Field, the Chicago Tribune reports. The wayward cat was lifted into the stands by a security guard after a comical chase during the fourth inning of a Cubs-Cincinnati Reds game. The treatment was labeled "poor decision-making" by an exec at the Anti-Cruelty Society of Chicago.

"A cat's tail isn't meant to hold their weight," she spat. "There could've been some injury." The animal—who bit and clawed several Cubs employees attempting to capture it—was later checked out by a veterinarian and is doing fine in a local animal shelter. It will be put up for adoption if nobody comes forward to claim it.
