Ginsburg Shows No Signs of Slowing Down

Ruth Bader Ginsburg has shown no signs of slowing, despite cancer surgery in February: Since then, she's attended every Supreme Court session, written more opinions than all but one other justice, and raised plenty of questions from the bench. A symposium celebrating Ginsburg’s service almost seemed designed to quash questions about an exit, with John Roberts congratulating her on “reaching the midpoint of your tenure,” the Washington Post reports.

The elephant in the room was the court's future, but Ginsburg seemed happy to focus on the present. "It's lonely for me," she said of being the high court's lone woman. "Not that I don't love all my colleagues. I do." And she defended her internationalist stance, a longstanding philosophy that's been in the headlines recently: "I frankly don't understand all the brouhaha lately."
