Jennifer Hudson will return to the stage for the first time since her family murder tragedy at next month's Super Bowl, sources tell E! Online. The singer has stayed out of the spotlight since her mother, brother and nephew were killed in October. Rumors that she was to sing at Barack Obama's inauguration proved to be false.
Hudson, who is up for four Grammy Awards for her first album, is scheduled to sing the national athem before the Super Bowl kick-off. She gave a rousing rendition of the anthem when Obama accepted his party's nomination in August. "She certainly can nail it," a source said. "She proved it at the Democratic National Convention."
