A jovial John McCain last night paid David Letterman his first visit since the election and made it crystal clear he wasn't interested in bringing up the past, AP reports. "I don't want to talk about the bleeping campaign," McCain said, smiling, actually using the word "bleeping." If "you think I'm going to go back to that bleeping situation, then bleep you."

McCain said he still disagrees with Barack Obama politically, but praised the president-elect's "very wise" cabinet choices, especially the "extremely knowledgeable" Hillary Clinton. McCain shared a laugh with Letterman over Rod Blagojevich, who Mac said once described himself to the senator as a "reformer." Asked if he thought the Illinois governor was stupid or nuts, McCain replied: "I think it's a rare combination of both."
