After years as the No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 song of all time, Chubby Checker's "The Twist" has been dethroned. The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" is now in the top spot, after Billboard updated its Greatest of All Time Hot 100 Songs recap. "The Twist," which is now in the No. 2 spot, had been No. 1 when Billboard first came out with the recap in 2008, and remained on top when the list was updated in 2013 and 2018. Billboard also updated its Greatest of All Time Hot 100 Artists retrospective, and the Beatles remained in the No. 1 spot, which they've been in every time the list has been calculated. The rest of the top 10:
