New fencing that went up around the White House complex last week has been festooned with signs and posters offering messages of hope, calling for police reform, and commemorating George Floyd and other victims of police violence, NBC reports. Images of the fence—which has started attracting tourists—can be seen in the gallery. The National Park Service said Tuesday that most of the fencing, which is 8 to 10 feet tall, will be coming down on Wednesday, reports the Washington Post. (More Black Lives Matter stories.)
