Francis Rooney is full of decisions these days: On Friday, he said he's open to impeaching President Trump if it's "the right thing because I’ll be looking at my children a lot longer than I’m looking to anybody in this building." On Saturday, Rooney confirmed that he'll be spending a lot more time with aforementioned children soon as he's not seeking reelection. "I’ve done what I came to do," he says, per the Guardian. "I want to be the model for term limits." Rooney's district is solidly Republican and Democrats are unlikely to mount a serious challenge. He was elected in 2016, after serving as ambassador to the Vatican under former President George W. Bush. (Rooney is a pretty well-known Republican fundraiser.)
