(David Santiago/Miami Herald via AP) Antonio Brown has been making headlines. Now the former NFL receiver is poised to make league history by filing nine appeals and grievances at the same time, ESPN reports. Brown—who was let go by the Oakland Raiders, then released by the New England Patriots amid sexual assault allegations—plans to go after the following lost money, sources say: Patriots' Week 3 salary, still unpaid: $64,000 Appealing fines with the Raiders: $215,000 Oakland's Week 1 salary, still unpaid: $860,000 Raiders' signing bonus: $1 million Salary guarantee with the Patriots: $1 million Signing bonus with the Patriots: $9 million Patriots' 2020 option year: $20 million Raiders' salary guarantees: $29 million And if he gets officially suspended by the NFL—a distinct possibility—Brown might appeal that too, which brings us to nine. Meanwhile he's generated social-media buzz by clashing with Baker Mayfield, the Cleveland Browns quarterback, on Twitter. After Mayfield appeared to disparage Brown's behavior on Instagram, Brown lashed out in a now-deleted tweet: "Sorry ass Chico keep rolling right you ain't done nothing in this league the internet only place u would ever talk too or about me; you know u get beat quick slice u up some humble pie," he wrote, per CBS Sports. (Brown also criticized Ben Roethlisberger and Robert Kraft at the same time he called it a career.) Report an error
