Two pilots about to take a United Airlines flight from Glasgow to Newark failed their breath tests this weekend. The men were taken into custody and are due in court in Scotland on Tuesday, the BBC reports. "These pilots were immediately removed from service," United said. The statement said the airline has "a no tolerance policy for alcohol." Police said they were called to the Glasgow airport to detain the men, ages 45 and 61. The alcohol limit for flight crews is less than half the threshold for drivers in Scotland, the New York Post notes. (More airline pilots stories.)
