The US Women's National Team beat England 2-1 in the semifinals Tuesday, CBS Sports reports, leading to tweets like this from FIFA Women's World Cup: "THE @USWNT ARE IN THE #FIFAWWC FINAL!" And this from the USWNT itself: "PARTY LIKE IT’S 1776 because we’re going to the #FIFAWWC FINAL!!!!" The final game will be held Sunday, per FIFA; the Netherlands and Sweden play their semifinal game Wednesday, and the winner of that game will face the US in the final. The US won the last Women's World Cup, in 2015, and also came out on top in 1991 and 1999. (Here's why Megan Rapinoe didn't play Tuesday.) Report an error
