A sign that the buzz around Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez isn't dying down: She's prominently featured in one documentary currently on Netflix, and Axios reports that she might get more of a solo treatment in a second film. AOC is one of four women in the 2018 elections featured in Knock Down the House—see the trailer here—that debuted this month on Netflix after making a splash at Sundance. The same filmmaker, Rachel Lears, is now in talks to do a second film about AOC's Green New Deal movement, according to the Axios report.
Knock Down the House took the Festival Favorite Award at Sundance and then sold for $10 million, a hefty price for a documentary, notes Deadline. One not-so-serious side note: For many viewers, it provided the first look at AOC's boyfriend, web developer Riley Roberts. Refinery29 notes that some viewers weren't too kind, with one describing him as a "little bin raccoon." He and AOC have made light of it with an Instagram clip of him getting a haircut.
