(YouTube) Singer Morrissey was rushed offstage in San Diego Saturday after a fan jumped up and apparently punched him in the face, TMZ reports. The San Diego Union-Tribune says Morrisey was wrapping up his encore song when fans rushed the stage at Jacobs Music Center's Copley Symphony Hall and one allegedly struck him. The 59-year-old British performer was removed by security while the fan was dragged off in a chokehold. No word on whether Morrissey, ex-The Smiths frontman, was injured.
