Two California drivers are dead after a road-rage incident, but the circumstances of this one are strange. Police say two men were driving on Interstate 5 near Sacramento about 3:45am Sunday when one vehicle struck another, reports the Sacramento Bee. Both men kept driving, but they stopped near an exit, got out, and started fighting. Witnesses tell police that one man began hitting the other with some type of weapon, reports SFGate, and the man died from what is believed to be blunt-force trauma. The other driver then began walking along the freeway, only to be struck and killed by a motorist. “It escalated from a traffic collision to a fight to a homicide,” says a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol.
