Shortly after the sudden death in January of Dolores O'Riordan, People reported on an old friend and label executive who said the 46-year-old Cranberries singer left a final voicemail for him the day she died in which she sounded "full of life" and "was joking." Now TMZ says it has the voicemail left for Dan Waite, and in that 40-second recording, O'Riordan sounds chipper and ready to get together with the group Bad Wolves later that day to record her part for their cover of the Cranberries song "Zombie," a collaboration set up by Waite.

"I think it's f---ing awesome!," she gushes over the Bad Wolves version of her song. "It sounds f---ing terribly good," she adds, before signing off by sending love to "Irene." The New York Daily News notes that the time of the voicemail was just after 1am London time on Jan. 15; O'Riordan was found dead in her hotel room shortly after 9am that same morning. No official cause of death has yet been released, though O'Riordan was said to have suffered from depression. Bad Wolves released their cover, without the vocals O'Riordan was going to record, after her death, with all proceeds going to her three kids. (More celebrity death stories.)
