Kate Upton, a former face of the fashion brand Guess, has taken to social media to accuse co-founder Paul Marciano of "sexually and emotionally" harassing women. "It's disappointing that such an iconic women's brand @GUESS is still empowering Paul Marciano as their creative director #metoo," the supermodel said in a Wednesday tweet, per People. Upton, who became a spokesperson for Guess in 2011, then reiterated the point in an Instagram post. "He shouldn't be allowed to use his power in the industry to sexually and emotionally harass women," she wrote. Upton did not provide specifics or make clear whether she was referring to herself or other women.

Several women responding to the posts suggested they or others they knew were victims of harassment at Guess, reports the Daily Beast, which points out that Upton's posts "appeared to be timed to cause maximum disruption." They appeared as Guess celebrated a new ad campaign featuring Jennifer Lopez at a party in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Spotted at LAX Wednesday, Upton told TMZ, "I'm excited to tell my whole story, but a walk to the car is not going to cover it." Speaking generally on abuses by people in positions of power, she added, "I think a lot of people around them know about it" and should speak out. (More sexual harassment stories.)
