Paramedics Clap Back at Angry Note Left on Ambulance
Note found by West Midlands Ambulance Service said, ""You may be saving lives but don't park your van in a stupid place and block my drive."   (WEST MIDLANDS AMBULANCE SERVICE)

"You may be saving lives but don't park your van in a stupid place and block my drive." So read a note left on an ambulance while paramedics were responding to a patient in critical condition in Birmingham, England, the BBC reports. Shocked by the message’s tone, West Midlands Ambulance Service posted a photo of the note to Facebook, writing, “Sometimes we just don't know quite what to say.” The post continued, “Our staff will always try and park considerately, but sometimes, there just isn't time. #sorry #patientscomefirst.” Over 2,000 responded to the post, while more than 900 people left comments in support of the paramedics.

West Midlands Ambulance Service gave thanks for the outpouring of support: "We still can't believe it, and it appears you can't either. Leaves us feeling really rather #sad - thanks again for all your support." According to paramedic Natasha Starkey, emergency responders getting called out over parking is “pretty normal.” In a BBC interview, she says, “Random people will just walk in and say ‘can you move your ambulance?’” (A Canadian bar owner leaves thank-you notes on cars parked overnight.)
