Big gains in technology companies sent major US stock indexes to more record high closes on Wall Street, the AP reports. Apple, already the world's most valuable publicly traded company, added another 2.9% Monday. Google's parent company Alphabet rose 1.7%. Health care companies and banks also did well. Biogen climbed 3.5% and Morgan Stanley rose 2.8%. The Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 20 points, or 0.8%, to 2,453. The Dow Jones industrial average increased 144 points, or 0.7%, to 21,528. The Nasdaq composite climbed 87 points, or 1.4%, to 6,239. The S&P 500 and the Dow Jones industrials both closed at all-time highs. (More stock market stories.)
