President Trump may be taking a lot of criticism for tweeting and uttering things that others find hard to believe, but in an interview with Time, he stands by his controversial statements and dismisses concerns about credibility. "Hey look ... I can’t be doing so badly, because I’m president, and you’re not," he tells Michael Scherer. On his wiretapping claims in particular, Trump emphasizes that he used the term in quotes in his tweet. "What I'm talking about is surveillance," he says. As validation, he pointed to the news conference held by House intel panel chair Devin Nunes on Tuesday in which Nunes claimed that communications of members of the Trump campaign may have been "incidentally collected." When Scherer says that's not the same as then-President Obama wiretapping Trump, the president says, "Who know(s) what it is?"
