Marty Schottenheimer, the only man in the last quarter-century to post an overall winning record as coach of the Cleveland Browns, has Alzheimer's, ESPN reports. The 73-year-old Schottenheimer has been privately battling the disease since being diagnosed five years ago. "He’s in the best of health, [but] sometimes he just doesn’t remember everything," his wife Pat says. "He’s got that memory lag where he’ll ask you the same question three or four times." But Schottenheimer is keeping a positive outlook. “I’m sitting here looking at a lake, and it’s a spectacular setting," he says from his home. "Pat and I, the Lord’s blessed us." According to NBC Sports, Schottenheimer coached nearly 350 games for the Browns, Chiefs, Washington, and Chargers during his 22-year career as an NFL head coach. (More Marty Schottenheimer stories.)
