The Los Angeles Kings scored three goals in the final three minutes to rally for a 4-2 win over the Dallas Stars today, reports the Associated Press. Michal Handzus tied it for the Kings, and then Lubomir Visnovsky put the Kings ahead with 2:06 left in the game. Handzus scored again with 1:19 left as the Kings handed Dallas its season-high fourth straight loss.
Stu Barnes scored in the second period for the Stars, and Dallas looked like it would snap its streak until Handzus took over. The Stars had won seven in a row at home against the Kings and were 11-1-2 against Los Angeles over the past two seasons. Rob Blake also scored a power-play goal for the last-place Kings.
