A warning: When a lion is on the loose, it's best to keep your distance and skip the selfies. A 63-year-old man is recovering in a hospital after a lion strayed from a national park in Kenya on Friday. The black-maned lion was spotted prowling beside a four-lane highway in Nairobi during morning rush hour, reports the BBC.
A rep for the Kenya Wildlife Service tells Deutsche Welle that it clawed the man—who suffered a broken bone and deep cuts to his shoulder, per the AP—because people were "hooting their horns, taking selfies and all that, and the lion got agitated." The lion was later escorted back to the reserve. (More Kenya stories.)
