Here are the seven most influential celebrities on the Internet, in no particular order, per Time: Kanye West: His tweets might actually be more provocative than his music, even though they're sometimes offensive or incomprehensible. He used the Internet to redefine the album, and his tweets often do make good points about both music and fashion. James Corden: The Late Show host creates sketches on his show that are ripe to go viral, most notably his "Carpool Karaoke" series (you probably saw the Adele edition—it's been viewed 85 million times). DJ Khaled: The music producer only recently became a huge Snapchat star that some have called "a meme in human form" thanks to his amusing motivational messages. You may have seen his inspirational message for Jeb Bush on Jimmy Kimmel Live; he's also been on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and on the cover of Businessweek. JK Rowling: Through Twitter and her website, Pottermore, she's kept her Harry Potter universe alive and growing (though sometimes controversial), and she also makes lots of headlines for engaging on Twitter in non-Potter ways (like by encouraging a depressed fan or burning Donald Trump). Caitlyn Jenner: Time calls her "the most famous transgender person in the world—and on social media." She got a million Twitter followers within four hours of joining. Kim Kardashian West: She has more than 120 million followers across a number of social media platforms, which means that things like her nude selfies and subsequent defense of them make headlines.
