Those are the least religious cities in the country, according to a new survey from the Public Religion Research Institute picked up by MarketWatch. Here are the 11 least religious US cities, along with the percentage of unaffiliated residents in each one:
- Portland, Ore. (tie): 37%
- San Francisco, Calif. (tied for first): 37%
- Seattle, Wash. (tied for first): 37%
- Denver, Colo. (tie): 29%
