It would be hard to find a movie on Rotten Tomatoes with worse reviews than Adam Sandler's The Ridiculous 6—it's got a zero rating—but that hasn't put off Netflix viewers. The company says the Western flick was watched by more people in the first 30 days of availability than any other movie it's shown, reports Entertainment Weekly. The revelation came during the CES forum in Las Vegas, though Ted Sarandos, the company's chief content officer, didn't provide specifics. "It's also enjoyed a spot at No. 1 in every territory we operate in, and in many of them it's still No. 1," he added.
Netflix also made headlines with the announcement that it's expanding to an additional 130 countries, including Russia, India, and South Korea, reports the Verge. One nation still notably absent from the list is China, but the company says it's working on it. As for the Ridiculous 6 movie: It's one of four that Sandler has agreed to make for Netflix, and it previously ran into controversy over its stereotyped portrayal of Native Americans.
