Forbes is out with its annual list of the 15 highest-paid TV actresses, and two sitcom stars sit atop it. The magazine looked at earnings—from their actual roles plus endorsement deals and other business ventures—from June 2014 to June 2015, and two actresses tied for No. 1: Sofia Vergara of Modern Family and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting of The Big Bang Theory. Each made $28.5 million, enough to also earn them spots on this year's Forbes Celebrity 100—they were the only TV actresses to make that list. Vergara, who has now topped the TV actress list four years running, has endorsement deals with CoverGirl and Head and Shoulders, and also runs a talent management and entertainment-marketing company. Cuoco-Sweeting, who is atop the list for the first time, has an endorsement deal with Priceline and recently negotiated a salary of $1 million per Big Bang episode.
The rest of the top five:
- Julie Bowen of Modern Family, a newcomer to the list; $12 million
- Ellen Pompeo of Grey's Anatomy, a list veteran; $11.5 million
- Mariska Hargitay of Law & Order: SVU, a list veteran; $11 million
