Foiled If I Did It publisher Judith Regan's lawyers say she didn't do it—cough up their agreed-upon payment, that is. And they want their money, Reuters reports. The lawyers represented Regan in her case against News Corp., which canned her in the uproar surrounding the OJ Simpson confessional. She then sued the media giant for defamation and breach of contract.

The lawyers seek $42,560 in fees and 25% of the confidential settlement in Regan's $100 million suit against News Corp. The complaint also names the lawyer and friend Regan hired to help with the settlement negotiations. Bertram Fields said he hadn’t seen the complaint but called the allegations “utter hogwash” with "absolutely no truth in them whatsoever." (More News Corp stories.)
