'Mutant Giant Spider Dog' takes first place

A dog in a giant spider costume beat out bending iPhones and first kisses to star in YouTube viewers' most-watched trending clip of the year. Google has revealed the service's most popular videos this year in a pair of lists, one covering trending videos and the other featuring music videos. While "Mutant Giant Spider Dog" topped the trending list with 113 million views, Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" led the music videos, with 715 million views, the BBC reports. Among the other winners:
