White House Rushes to Find Contraception Solution

After the Supreme Court threw a wrench in ObamaCare's contraceptive coverage plans, the White House is hurrying to find a new way to cover birth control for thousands of women, the New York Times reports. The paper cites two possible solutions. One approach would call on companies' insurers to pay for coverage; alternatively, the administration could work toward covering contraception itself.

How exactly either of these options would be paid for is a question officials haven't yet had time to answer, the Times notes. But the administration is under the gun: There are already some 100 court cases in the pipeline that could be affected by Supreme Court's two recent contraceptive decisions. What's more, Democrats would like to use those decisions to their benefit at the polls this year, with the Democratic National Committee is calling on voters to "stand up for ObamaCare."
