Fox News didn't offer the most ringing endorsement of weekend anchor Gregg Jarrett, who was arrested yesterday at a Minnesota airport. Jarrett "is dealing with serious personal issues at this time," the network said in a statement, according to USA Today. "A date at which Gregg might return to air has yet to be determined." Jarrett hadn't been on the air recently anyway; earlier this month, Fox told TVNewser that he had "requested time off for personal reasons."

Details about Jarrett's arrest remain scarce. Police got involved after an airport employee called a little after noon to report that the 59-year-old "appeared to be acting very intoxicated," according to a police report obtained by the Star-Tribune. Officers said he was "uncooperative, resistant, and combative" when they confronted and arrested him. (More Gregg Jarrett stories.)
