Noma reclaims top spot

World's Best Restaurant Is in Copenhagen

Noma has reclaimed the top spot on Restaurant magazine's annual list of the world's 50 best eateries. The Copenhagen restaurant was in the No. 1 spot from 2010 to 2012, but was booted to No. 2 last year by El Celler de Can Roca, in Girona, Spain, the New York Times reports. This year, the two restaurants again traded spots—even though Noma saw a big outbreak of food poisoning last year. The rest of the top 10:

  1. Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy
  2. Eleven Madison Park in New York
  3. Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in London
  4. Mugaritz in San Sebastián, Spain
  5. D.O.M in Sáo Paulo, Brazil
  6. Arzak in San Sebastián, Spain
  7. Alinea in Chicago
  8. The Ledbury in London
