The latest tale of fast-food workers behaving badly comes from West Virginia, where health officials have shut down a Pizza Hut after video surfaced of a worker urinating in a kitchen sink, reports the Consumerist. Maybe the scariest part of the video, obtained by WOWK-TV, is that it all looks so very ... routine. This wasn't some teen pulling a prank; it was an older district manager nonchalantly using the restaurant's sink as a urinal.
Make that former district manager: “First of all, we are embarrassed by the actions of this individual," says a company statement. "Pizza Hut has zero tolerance for violations of our operating standards, and the local owner of the restaurant took immediate action and terminated the employee involved." County health officials shut down the restaurant in Kermit after the TV station provided the video, and the store will presumably be open again after a thorough disinfecting. (More Pizza Hut stories.)
