A Missouri man whose personal plea to Mark Zuckerberg became an Internet sensation will get to see a Facebook video of his late son after all, reports the Daily Dot. John Berlin made an emotional YouTube video this week, asking Zuckerberg and Facebook if he could see a "Look Back" montage of son Jesse, who died in 2012. (Facebook introduced the minute-long montages this week for most users, based on their timelines.) "We can’t access his Facebook account," Berlin says in the video. "All we want to do is see his movie, that’s it.”

With help from Reddit, the video quickly went viral, with nearly 900,000 views as of this afternoon. And the plea worked: "I was just contacted by FB by phone and there (sic) going to make a vid just for us," Berlin posted on Facebook. "They also said they're going to look at how they can better help families who have lost loved ones." Meanwhile, TechCrunch reports that users unhappy with their own montages will be able to edit them. (More uplifting news stories.)
