Everyone complains about their fellow drivers, but which city in the US truly has the worst ones? Miami, by a mile, according to an analysis in Slate that rounds up metrics including accidents, fatalities, drunk driving, and pedestrian strikes. The worst offenders:
- Miami: "Not even close," writes Brian Palmer, thanks in part to its No. 1 rankings in fatalities and in accidents involving pedestrians.
- Philadelphia: It's No. 2 in collisions and pedestrian strikes.
- Hialeah: The Florida city doesn't have a ton of accidents, but it still ranks third in fatalities, hurting its overall score.
