The Kings led the New Jersey Nets by 11 after the first period and never looked back as Sacramento cruised to a 128-94 victory. Ron Artest led all scorers with 27 points. The mercurial small forward also grabbed six boards, dished four assists, swiped five steals and, for good measure, blocked a shot, AP reports.

For New Jersey it was the second straight blowout loss after Sunday’s 116-92 debacle in Phoenix. The Nets have now lost seven of their last eight games after ripping off a five-game winning streak. New Jersey played decently on the offensive end, but did little on the defensive side of the ball, surrendering their highest point total of the season. (More basketball stories.)
