One of Stephen Breyer's Supreme Court clerks might gently suggest that it's time to put away the bike: Breyer broke his shoulder today after taking a spill in DC near the Korean War memorial, reports the Los Angeles Times. It's actually his third major bike accident, notes NPR. He broke a collarbone in 2011 and suffered a punctured lung and broken ribs after getting hit by a car in 1993. The 74-year-old had shoulder-replacement surgery this morning and is expected to make a full recovery, reports AP. (Why yes, this is the same justice who got robbed by machete last year.)
