The Hornets were up by 19 points at halftime last night, and although Seattle briefly showed some spark in a 15-4 third-quarter run, the Sonics fell further behind to lose by their familiarly large margin. The 123-92 win featured 21 rebounds from New Orleans center Tyson Chandler, 17 of those in the first half, reports the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

Elsewhere in the NBA, Atlanta and Milwaukee kept the battle even through much of their game, with the Bucks only pulling out in front in the final few minutes to win 87-80. Andrew Bogut grabbed 10 boards and sank 21 points for Milwaukee, including four in the last 45 seconds to tighten the screws against the Hawks. (More NBA stories.)
