Mark Zuckerberg may not be able to keep his investors happy, but those inside Facebook still love him. Zuckerberg just topped Glassdoor's latest list of the 50 highest-rated CEOs in the country, with a 99% approval rating from Facebook employees, reports PC Mag. Not surprisingly, Facebook employees also voted the company the best place to work last year. Zuckerberg also saw the biggest jump among CEOs, climbing 14 spots from last year. Facebook is "an open community from Zuck on down," wrote one worker there. "Mutual trust companywide and sense of community and drive, instilled by our CEO, who we truly respect."
The list is dominated by tech companies and financial firms, with 18 of the CEOs hailing from technology-based companies and three of the top five in finance. SAP's Bill McDermott and Jim Hagemann Snabe tied with Zuckerberg for first place. Other notables in the list include Google's Larry Page in 11th place and Amazon's Jeff Bezos in 16th. Apple's Tim Cook landed in 18th. "The CEOs who are more successful in gaining employee approval are those who paint a clear vision of what the company is setting out to achieve and how it's going to get there," says Glassdoor's CEO (who did not make the list).
