The former Kate Middleton left a London hospital today looking like a champ, and noted that she's "feeling much better" after a three-night stay for hyperemesis gravidarum, or acute morning sickness. Prince William accompanied her, and St. James's Palace later released a short statement from both of them thanking the hospital (despite the fact that it fell for a prank call). "The Duchess of Cambridge ... will now head to Kensington Palace for a period of rest," the statement adds, according to the Telegraph.

Kate's immediate engagements are cancelled, and experts don't expect her to make another public appearance until Christmas Day. But she certainly made the most of today's appearance, the Telegraph notes, with her hair perfect, her clothing impeccable, her bouquet of roses classily hiding her tummy, and her makeup doing its absolute best although still failing to hide her "puffy eyes," writes Belinda White. Sadly, the Daily Beast reports that Kate and William will spend much of her pregnancy apart, as the prince must return to his RAF base in Wales. Their baby is rumored to be due in June.
