Tampa socialite Jill Kelley—who invoked her consul status in several 911 calls after the scandal surfaced—misused the title by using it in her personal business dealings, a Korean Foreign Ministry official says. A New York businessman says Kelley sought an $80 million fee for using her South Korean connections to broker a deal for a coal project directly with the country's president.
