Nike says it will not drop Lance Armstrong as a spokesman despite his latest doping trouble. "Lance has stated his innocence and has been unwavering on this position," said the company, his major sponsor. "Nike plans to continue to support Lance and the Lance Armstrong Foundation, a foundation that Lance created to serve cancer survivors." So far, neither Armstrong nor his foundation have lost any big sponsors, reports ABC News.
Anheuser-Busch and sunglasses maker Oakley are among those who have stated they will stand by Armstrong, though bike maker Trek said it hasn't made a final decision. Armstrong, however, almost certainly will see a dent in his endorsement income: Forbes estimates he could miss out on $50 million over the next five years. (More Lance Armstrong stories.)
